The Herbert Team is the mortgage practice of Jason Herbert, NMLS #633039, originating through Primis Mortgage Company, NMLS #1894879. This policy covers information collected through this website. Loan applications submitted through the Primis Bank application portal are governed by Primis Bank’s own privacy policy and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act privacy notice, which you will receive during the application process.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, request a guide, or book a consultation on this site, we may collect:

Name, email address, phone number, and mailing or property location
Details you volunteer about your situation — employment type, purchase timeline, property type, goals
Message content you send through a contact or partner form

We do not collect Social Security numbers, account numbers, or full financial documentation through this website. That information is only collected inside the secure Primis Bank application portal.

Like nearly every website, ours automatically records technical information when you visit:

Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and the link or ad that referred you

Advertising and Analytics Tracking

This website uses two third-party tracking technologies. Both are active on every page, and both set cookies in your browser.

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel (ID 497875464066153), a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It records page views and specific actions — such as submitting a form, clicking to call, or starting an application — and sends that event data to Meta. We use it to measure which ads produce inquiries and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may match this activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.

The pixel does not transmit the contents of your loan file or any financial documentation. It transmits page URLs, event names, and browser identifiers.

You can control this through Meta’s Ad Preferences and Off-Facebook Activity settings, or by opting out through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BG0E3R8MG8), a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages get read, which guides get downloaded, and where people drop off. GA4 collects page views, events, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device information, and a randomly generated client identifier stored in a cookie.

We do not use GA4 to identify you personally, and we do not upload personally identifiable information into Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or manage ad personalization at Google My Ad Center.

Blocking these tools does not affect your ability to use the site, submit a form, or apply for a loan. It only limits our measurement.

Third-Party Services We Embed

Pivot Point CRM — hosts the contact, partner, guide download, newsletter, and booking forms embedded on this site. Information you submit through those forms goes directly to that platform.
Common Ninja — displays our live Google Reviews widget. It loads review content from Google.
Google Fonts and Google Maps — deliver typography and the location map. Google may log your IP address when these load.
Primis Bank HomeHub — the secure loan application portal. Once you leave this site for the portal, Primis Bank’s privacy policy governs.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

With Primis Mortgage Company and Primis Bank as necessary to process, underwrite, and close your loan
With service providers who operate on our behalf — CRM, email delivery, scheduling, and analytics platforms — under obligations to protect it
With settlement service providers involved in your specific transaction, such as title companies, appraisers, and insurance agents
When required by law, subpoena, regulatory examination, or to prevent fraud

Text Messages and Calls

By submitting your phone number through a form on this site, you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, and email regarding your inquiry, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any loan or service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of text messages, or call (760) 715-3434 to be removed from all contact lists.

Email Communications

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages but does not stop transaction-related communication about a loan already in progress.

Data Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information in our possession. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email sensitive documents — use the secure portal instead.

Data Retention

We retain inquiry and marketing information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and regulatory recordkeeping requirements, which for mortgage-related records is generally a minimum of three years and may be longer depending on the record type.

Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Children’s Privacy
